TALKING NC presents documentary films, audio recordings and books from the North Carolina Language and Life Project (NCLLP) at NC State University.

The NCLLP is directed by founder Walt Wolfram, the William C. Friday Distinguished Professor of Sociolinguistics at NC State University. The goals of the NCLLP are to bring the results of academic inquiry into language and culture to a broad public audience, through documentary films and audio recordings, museum exhibitions and installations, special works, public school curricula, and books written for a popular audience.
